Excel reports

In the past years I have built more than 50 reports in excel.

All the reports are automatically importing data from the database of the software (usually SQL).

Every time the report is opened it will refresh and get new data. No manual input is required from the user.

I have built web crawlers that can be launched by the user on a constant basis to save them hours of manual work.

Error tracking and prevention

I have built an excel file with more than 100 checks that includes potential input errors and database checks (customized per customer). A user or an admin can see all of them in one shot.

Some of the errors cause a significant waste of time in the future. For example, when users start checking why some balances do not match and discover that it was a wrong input months ago.

Some of the errors are prevented on a database level and will block the user when he is making the wrong input.

Initially, FavSync was based on an idea I had long ago, to create a homepage where users can store all the links to all the websites they need and use it as their homepage. After building a prototype and getting a small investment, in 2012, me and two other partners have founded a startup.

In 2014 we got a pre-seed investment from iMinds that helped us evolve FavSync into something more mature and ready for market.

FavSync creates a portal on the web that allows you to store any type of content in it.
It is completely customizable and is accessible from anywhere and any device.

FavSync’s platform offers 4 products:
